This is the first time the Grizzlies have engaged other teams in trades for Morant, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 draft."

The Grizzlies get all of this here. The Timberwolves are confirmed to be interested in trading Rob Dillingham so it makes sense there. Minnesota is also rumored to be interested in getting Ja Morant.

I think we already know if a trade happens, this is unfortunately going to be Trae Young trade 2.0. I could maybe see this deal happen without the picks. Are the Timberwolves willing to trade fan favorite Naz Reid? We'll see.
