The Celtics could try a trade at the deadline to potentially try to win or at least do a nice run and have nice pieces to build around for later with the return of Tatum. I think in the futur MPJ will become a better asset for the Celtics than Anfernee Simons.

The Nets do this trade because they are winning a bit too much games and with the departure of MPJ they should lose more game for the lottery. The Nets would get Anfernee Simons as a valuable asset which a point guard who can drop 20 a night. Sam Hauser is a good shooter who can be valuable and Xavier Tillman Sr. is a nice backup center for the Nets.
