I don't think the Mavs are gonna blow it up, but to build arround Cooper and not be stuck in mediocrity for the next 10 years they probably should. This is not one trade but 3 different move.

Explanation for all Teams :

Mavericks : you get a lot of young players to developp arround Flagg with Sheppard, Kuminga, Moody and Scoot who all fits the new timeline. Jeremy Grants is having a realy great season and VanVleet could be the veteran point guard that the Mavs needs deeply.

Portland : you buy low on Anthony Davis. Jeremy Grant is good this season but his contract overall is terrible. With Jrue, the return of Lillard next season and the developpement of Yang Hansen they don't realy have the time to developp Scoot properly. On top of this, the Blazers still own Midwaukee first round pick between 2028 and 2030 so they can still add a top young talent later. Portland defense is already elite when they have CLingan, Avdija, Camara and Jrue on the court, adding Davis to the mix and you have a realy scary team.

Rockets : the goal is to maximise KD timeline and to do so you need to win this year or the next two year. Houston already have a top 5 offense this season but I'm not sure this could translate well during the playoffs. Amen Thompson seems to need two more years of developpement to be an elite offensive player. They gave a lot of value in this trade, but that's to offload VanVleet contracts who canno't play this year and to convice the Mavs to trade Kyrie if is not put on the market. They also get back Brandon Williams who's a solid option of the bench who can replicate on some degree what Reed Shepard is doing for them right now.

Warriors : this deal is not to make them title contenders. Honestly I don't think they can anymore. Steph Curry said himself that he don't want to retire and left this franchise whith no assets so instead of trading picks away, they get a pick back for Kuminga. Gafford would be the starting center of this team and you allow the legendary trio of Klay, Steph and Draymond to end their career together.
