Mavericks: Andrew Wiggins

Warriors: Grant Williams, Richaun Holmes, Derrick Jones Jr. and a second-round pick

Andrew Wiggins has been having a down year in almost all aspects, but the Mavericks take a shot on him in hopes that he can return to form. Warriors add some good pieces in Grant Williams, and Derrick Jones Jr, but are really just happy to get off of Andrew Wiggins contract, and to mix up the roster. If Wiggins can play like himself in Dallas, he will add much needed defense and rebounding around Luka and Kyrie, and the Mavs hope he will propel them to being a top team in the West. The Warriors on the other hand, let Kuminga assume the Wiggins role given his emergence in the past few weeks, and hope that this new roster will find it's groove as we approach the postseason.
