NOW... the idea with this trade is to basically do lottery trade gambling, which is mainly prevalant in the trade between the bulls and the rockets. through the wizards, you send off a solid guard to pick up a vet player, yes D'lo isnt the best person for a team that wants to win, but that isn't the point for the bulls rn, they need a veteran that can lead the way, this way the bulls could try to milk a few mid 2nd round picks that could turn to future gold if the cards fall in place. with the rockets, you do an extend and trade with collin sexton so that the rockets can get more security on the gaurd role, alongside with sexton, try the new lottery trade gamble system where you send off your 27 1st round pick and ur 2032 1st round pick, the 2027 pick is lottery protected, and the 32 1st round pick is top 10 protected, you also sweeten the trade by sending an unprotected 2nd round pick in return to pick up a large contract in DFS, and two high value picks in the 27 BKN swap pick and the 29 Mavs/Suns double swap pick, the gamble is that you hope to be in the lottery in 2027 so that you get your pick as well as that potential top pick from BKN, and in 2032, if everything ends up like the pelicans these last few years, you hope to be in the top 10, hopefully by then the bulls have a solid roster that is competing for a title (I would do the 2033 pick but I am unable to through Fanspo) like i mentioned at the start, the jazz trade will ONLY WORK IF THE JAZZ GET A TOP 3 PICK IN THIS YEARS LOTTERY. Because of how concentrated their roster is on the wing and center position, if they get a top 3 pick, I see them either getting Dybantsa cuz of BYU, or Cam Boozer cuz of Carlos Boozer working for the jazz, both players are wings and will most likely prevent Ace bailey from being able to properly develop, so the idea is for the bulls to extend anfernee simons and send him off to utah in return to pick up ace bailey, you could argue that the bulls should add at least 1 or 2 2nd round picks and I would agree. NOW IF THE JAZZ DO NOT GET A TOP PICK, then I would either have anfernee simons be the player that is extended and traded to the rockets, or just written off the books all together.
