Denver: There’s honestly not much of a choice here. You need to clear a lot of money, and with or without Murray, I don’t think Denver is winning the title right now. Getting Derrick White plus draft capital lets them stay competitive while creating more financial flexibility, and they might even be able to keep Peyton.

Boston: They need more firepower. Murray next to PG and Tatum gives them another legit creator, and the roster isn’t exactly thin either. The only downside is giving up Sam Hauser for basically nothing just to make the trade work.

Detroit: Two second-round picks for a shooter they desperately need isn’t bad at all. Hauser gives them spacing and fits what they need pretty well.
