For Denver, they had overpaid for Braun and Valanciunas is continuously getting worse every year, so you ship them both off for win now players in PJ Washington who is a great defensive big to come off the bench or start if AG is hurt again and bring in Klay Thompson who has championship experience and can plug in for Braun at the 2. Trading Zeke is just to free up a some cap space to get the deal done. Denver adds in a FRP to fill in for value lost by Dallas and a SRP for Brooklyn to take Zeke contract.

For Dallas, getting Klay was a mistake and trading PJ and Gafford on top of Klay now gets you 2 FRPs to add onto your team to build around Flagg. Dallas originally got Poeltl and 2 FRPs for Gafford but are able to dump Poeltl off to Brooklyn but have to sacrifice the 2026 FRP to do so which I don't think they will mind at all seeing it is probably one of the worse contracts of all time. Only getting 1 FRP for Washington and Thompson may not seem like it is a lot but Braun still has potential to develop alongside of Flagg and rookie Morez Johnson. This also opens up space for Lively to be the full time 5 for them and Valanciunas is a solid enough backup 5 for a team who may make the play-in. In general, getting 2 FRPs to downgrade a bit isn't bad at all.

For Tronto, the aspect of getting off Poeltl's 4 year deal is enough for me to trade off 2 FRPs, one being a swap, but to also get Gafford, who is a significant upgrade at the 5 spot for a team who is trying to win with newly acquired Kawhi Leonard on the team. This deal is a homerun for Tronto and their fans would be dancing in the streets if they was able to get it done. Trading Mogbo is a filler piece since they just drafted Allen Graves.

For Brooklyn, do I even really need to explain myself here. Getting Poeltl's contract does suck yes but at the end of the day, you're also getting a FRP to do it so that makes up for it even if the pick is early to late 20s. Zeke is a solid 4 who can develop and getting a SRP back for him is a great value deal. The Nets renouncing Agbaji rights is something that happened irl. (Nets side is iffy with Fanspo not having the Randle trade in here but f it we ball).
