The Timberwolves clearly need a PG now that Conley is starting to decline. Trae Young would be the ideal complement to Edwards as a shooter and passer. They still have Naz Reid to play the 5 without Gobert and Capela could provide some solid depth off the bench.
The Lakers desperately need a center now that AD is gone. Luka fits best with a great defensive anchor who can also be a lob threat. Gobert checks both boxes, and his addition would instantly make the Lakers contenders for this season. Also, adding an incredible defensive guard in Dyson Daniels next to Luka would be a perfect fit as it gives the Lakers 2 all defense level players.
The Hawks are a mess right now because they are without Johnson the rest of the year, they were mediocre with him, and they don't control any of their next 3 FRPs. This trade would let them rebuild from scratch with an interesting prospect in Reaves and they could get their own picks back and steer into the tank as they build around him, Johnson, Risacher, and whoever they draft in the lottery.
The Spurs would be able to cash in a few Hawks picks for a slightly better set of draft picks for the next few years, and a FRP caliber player in Knecht who could be a solid supporting piece as they contend for the rest of the decade.
