• Assuming Orland isn't averse to trading Jett, given they also have a similar player in Caleb Houston, having an elite shooting guard is crucial for them to execute deep playoff runs. In the end, Ant would be great there.

• The issue is they want players beyond Ant's level. There's also the possibility of targeting star two-way guards like Spida or Dejounte. But wouldn't trading with Atlanta in the same division be unfavorable for both? While Spida is a superstar, for better or worse, he tends to influence the culture heavily. However, he doesn't fit into the Portland' plans. We're leaning towards Scoot/Sharpe in the backcourt. We're not strong enough defensively to cover up Ant's defensive weaknesses, so trading him away might seem like a better option than forcing a fit.

• It's evident they're clearly aiming to get bigger. They drafted Kris (6-9) and Rayan (6-8) in the 23 draft, and added Banton (6-9) to the mix. The front office's preference for size is apparent, and they'll likely welcome Jett with open arms.
