Pelicans: they get rid so many bad contracts, taking back almost 110mil in expiring contracts (that’s the biggest reason they would do that) Also they free up more minutes for their younger guys, moving away from Zion (whose trade value has completely dropped) The two picks that they get are probably bad (the first one probably won’t convey and the second one is just a swap)
Heat: although they do get a bad contract in Murray, they also get Alvarado, the most Heat culture player in the NBA without giving back anything special.
Bulls: they just give the expiring contracts and two bad picks.
Pistons: now here things get a bit tricky. They re the most likely team to say no, but I feel like they could really use a Poole. Don’t forget that Poole was huge with the warriors when he had a reduced role.
