The two most obvious trade destinations for G are the teams that hold the Bucks future draft assets, Portland and NOLA.

Here Portland gets G and takes on Kuzma's contract, they give up minimal player assets in this scenario, depending on your feelings about Ayton & Simons. Portland also only gives up two actual draft picks and two swaps. The reasons for Portland doing this should be obvious as this trade immediately moves them into championship contention without sending its best players or depleting its draft assets. Scoot, Sharpe, Deni, Klingan and Grant all would benefit from the addition of Giannis and would be a dangerous team.

Let's be clear, The Bucks have no great options at this point and are going to have to suffer for awhile. The Bucks accept this offer because it allows for maximum flexibility with all three players coming in on expirings and are young enough to keep if desired. With the addition of a lottery pick this year it would give the Bucks a passable on court product for awhile while they decide how to approach the rebuild and giving them back their control of their draft from 2028 on. Getting off of Kuzma's contract is a big incentive for making this trade. They could decide to keep Ayton and Simons plus that draft pick and possible sign a FA in two years to float until they get their future back. Whatever happens for the Bucks it won't be pretty
