It is not a secret that Atlanta has been looking to trade John Collins for a better Defensive PF. The Utah Jazz are among the teams interested in trading for Collins and they have exactly what they are looking for, that being Jarred Vanderbilt. Jarred Vanderbilt is a versatile PF that can guard 1-5 and be the type of "Glue Guy" that Draymond Green is for GSW. As for Utah, this would fix the spacing issue which would allow Rookie Walker Kessler to start for the Jazz. Having a frontcourt of Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, and Walker Kessler would be very nice on the defensive side of the ball as well because of their height and elite rim protecting from Kessler. The Cleveland Cavaliers have expressed interest in Malik Beasley and it has been reported that they would be willing to move Caris Levert. Now the Jazz don't want to pay Caris, but the Hawks would have cap room after trading Collins and happen to be interested in Levert who would be an excellent backup wing for them.
