In this hypothetical trade the pistons sign and trade Tobias Harris to around a similar contract that he’s currently on for one year and move him so it would be a sign an trade with him also I’m uncertain as to who but they would also use the extra expiring contracts that they still currently have to build up additional bench depth like Saric expiring decline Sasser team option things like that

Obviously this is only if the pistons aren’t good enough to make a deep playoff push if they have a team that makes it all the way to the finals this dosent make sense to me

For the clippers I think everyone knows that Kahwi is gone this offseason traded to a contender for the best return they could get in this case I’m unsure if two firsts would be needed or if 39 million in expiring plus a really versatile good young forward plus a late round pick would be enough

The pistons would also have a lot to think about like even though Kawhi is coming off one of his best regular seasons ever is it worth it to trade Ron Holland and personally depending on how they do this postseason will determine if it’s a legit move they could make
