i think since the heat was tryna get giannis all year long, i think they might be trying to get another star in general like kd or jb. i also think that kd might want to leave houston, because of the kd files and definitely not championship ready team, has no experience throughout the entire team, unlike the heat who have multiple players who have preformed in the finals. now some of that experience will be traded and that can be shared around the team in houston but some of it also stays in miami, which would make it better for kd. it gives kd a good surrounding cast in a weak conference while still being a star with a 2nd option who averaged like 25 this season and a 3rd option who dropped 83 points this season. it also gives the rockets a lead ball handler and a prize 3 point shooter who is also young in herro and a young big contract player in jovic where then they can actually get something in return for sengun… always, and a dirty work in wiggins. projected lineups rockets: PG: Herro. SG: Thompson. SF: Wiggins. PF: Jabari. C: Sengun. Bench includes fvv, okogie, reed sheppard, dfs, adam’s, eason, jovic. think this could be like a 4th seed next year, not championship contenders but that would be needing to get rid of sengun, which isn’t as easy as it seems. Projected lineups for the heat. PG: Davion. SG: Powell. SF: KD. PF: Bam. C: Ke’el Ware. bench includes capela, jakučionus (which could be a valuable bench player next season) larson, jjj, fontecio. i see this team being a 4th seed next season, which isn’t bad in the east conference, and especially if the heat are known for deep playoff runs, i think they could go far… even without jimmy buckets.
