Why for... Rockets: Speed up the rebuild. Buy out expiring contracts to ring chase and whatever others for roster space. Moved Wall's contract which gives mental and cap relief. With Wood moved a new alpha will emerge which would be interesting. Should get at 2 1st rounders for taking on cap filler and Wood's contact compared to production.

Timberwolves: Get the best player. Simmons doesn't have to shoot on this team. Just layups and dunks. Create for others, play All-NBA defense, set screens and be the roll man. Potential dynasty if Timberwolves are willing to pay the price.

76ers: Get more shooters around Embiid and just let him keep dominating touches. Also get 3+ 1st rounders for a disgruntled All-Star. Getting a lottery pick should be a priority. It's not Lillard but the assets would help with future trades.

Hornets: Get a starting 5 in Wood that can spread the floor and catch a lob. This will increase their playoff push. Replace still learning the game Washington with a veteran with playoff experience in Morris.

Clippers: Get a needed creator that's hungry to play and prove himself once again. Potential to be a dangerous team when George and Leonard are back healthy.
