in my mind this is step 1 to a blazers rebuild. you have too many guards. in this case you can dump the nurkic contract and you are taking back a shorter deal. a lineup of dame, sharp, grant, dfs, simmons can at least give dame a chance until the trade deadline where he can decide he wants a trade. then after flipping dame you can trade dfs in the 2024 offseason for value and have an expriring in simmons. Maybe im selling low on simons but i REALLY hate the nurkic deal. as for the nets you get a starting guard for the future next to bridges and clean your hands of the ben disaster. let me know what changes you guys think i should make to the deal.
