Let me pain a picture: Indiana is 5th in a tight Eastern conference and are looking to go in on a wing creator as a third option between Hali and Siakam. They sell off some of their depth (which feels far more reasonable given their Oubre signing) and a few picks for an efficient 3 and D wing with on ball creation chops in Trey Murphy. We all know he is on a super team friendly contract and New Orleans has an uber expensive asking price for him atm.
NO then moves Nesmith to the warriors for an injured Moses Moody, a first and 2 seconds. Aaron nesmith is an awesome role player who would fit in great as a 3 and D spacer on a shallow warriors roster.
I think NO's price is too high currently, but if they are bad once again at the deadline, I could see them going for a deal like this.
Let me know what yall think!?
