The Cavs have proved that they no longer need Sexton to be the face of their franchise. So how do they move on, by getting an older player who can replicate Sexton's skill set to a certain degree.

Cavs - The Cavs get Tim Hardaway, Tim acts as an off-the-bench scorer who elevates the scoring of the team and alleviates scoring pressure from the starters. At the same time, Tim would be able to play a better role and fit better on the team.

Mavs - The Mavs get an amazing young scorer who has plenty of upside, at the same time they get him on a fairly time friendly deal.
