The front office had already managed to convince themselves to give up 4 firsts and a pick swap for a shooter, so why not throw in just one more pick (#25 this year) and a talented but injury prone player in Jonathan Isaac to go and acquire Devin Booker.

I know the fit isn’t perfect but I don’t think it’s terrible by any means. You can definitely make it work, because I believe Paolo and Franz are perfectly capable of playing off the ball a bit more, and Booker is levels above of Bane, whilst still providing the shooting ability. Booker is a genuine star and adding him to this Magic team could have made them a top 3 team in the East. YES!! I MEAN THAT!!

I’m sure the Suns, knowing they have no hope of making things work, with KD on his way out and with a severe lack of picks, would snap your hand off if you offered them this deal, as it’s the best chance they’re going to get to blow it up before they leave it too late and teams take advantage of discontent within the camp, like hungry vultures, circling to pick them apart, as stars force their way out the door for pennies on the dime.
