This is the type of move I wish the Blazers made during the offseason before the Knicks signed Brunson. Randle would be unlocked with the new change of scenery and pairing with Dame, this could allow more lineup combinations and better defense, also Randle brings in another offensive punch and could be closer to the player he last year. This also gives them a better starting 5 with Dame, Har/GPII, Grant, Randle, and Nurk and finally shifts them away from the 2 small guard team they have been for the last 6 years.

I'd love to hear more thoughts on a similar type of trade since the Blazers are quite capped as a playoff team with their current roster I know this trade would most likely never happen unless Randle is straight-up disgruntled and demands a trade. But other players I've looked at for the Blazers were Sabonis, Siakam, Colins, Ayton, and Gobert. This is due to my belief that you need good rim protection or versatility to go along with a small guard as your best player, and because I believe you should have your two best players able to operate in different areas of the court (e.g paint scoring and perimeter scoring) as well as also being good pick and roll/pop, partners.
