The most talked about but probably most expensive option for the Lakers to acquire via trade this offseason is Nic Claxton.
He is the best option pla wise for the Lakers. 6'11'' center who can play the P&R with Luka, defend the rim (5.3% B%) and is a good finisher at the rim (.755%FG at rim).
In terms of what the trade package wul look like, the Lakers would have to give up a lot. Here I have them giving up Rui, Knecht and 2 first round picks, which might sound steep, but you're getting a good center on an ok deal for multiple years.
As for how this looks for the Nets, they get an immmediate contributor in Rui Hachimura that can elevate their play, as well as a good young piece in Dalton Kecht who can shoot the lights out of the ball. The two firsts give them some extra future draft capital to keep rebuilding or trade for a star in the future when the moment comes.
