Suns RFS(Reason For Selling): Ayton and Crowder don’t want to be there and this way they get an All Star Center in return who’s an upgrade from Ayton. I’m aware that KAT is one of the least desirable stars in the league today but make no mistake he’s still of pretty good value. It’s worth mentioning that he and Booker are good friends who’ve stated that they want to play together at some point. Also he’ll no longer have any power in the Suns franchise. Paul, Monty WIlliams and Booker are the leaders of that locker room, KAT will have no choice but to fall in line and we might just see his game elevate in that system.
Side Note: DLo might follow in free agency as well
Wolves RFS: This is a way to make sense of the Gobert trade. As simple insurance for the Center position and a step in committing to the Ant Man investment. They get back some pretty good vets here who fit their needs in their starting lineup and bench as well, by adding toughness, complimentary scoring and shooting to back up Edwards. The protected pick is just to sweeten the pot and possibly assure them of a pick in the year 2025 at least.
WAS RFS: Kuz has been on the block for months already and to land a young budding center would be one heck of a get for them. Whether they move on from Beal next season or not, this secures them a piece that they can develop along side the rest of the young talent they’ve acquired the last 4 years.
