Celtics send away many assets but in return receive Turner and Beasley. Turner is the perfect center for the Celtics who can protect the rim at an elite level and space the floor well for a big. Beasley is an explosive shooter and scorer who can be a great secondary piece on offense. They are also both 24 and 25, giving the Celtics an elite young core that would only get better as the years go on.
The Pacers swap Turner for Grant, who can guard the other teams best player and create for himself on the offensive end of the floor. He is great off-ball as well and is a prolific off the catch shooter. They also get Jackson, who is a project on offense but can give them another versatile defender on the wing.
The Timberwolves give up Beasley and Okogie for Smart and Lamb. Smart is a fantastic defender and leader in the locker room who can bring experience and grit to the team. He is also a solid secondary ball-handler and a streaky shooter who can occasionally get hot from three. Lamb can supplement for some of the scoring lost from losing Beasley as well.
The Pistons get a slew of assets in return for Grant. Robert Williams III is a fantastic young, athletic shot-blocker who can supplement for some of the defense lost from losing Grant and be an exciting lob target for Cade Cunningham. Okogie is a raw wing with rare two way potential, Grant Williams is another solid young wing, and Pritchard is a good young ball-handler. They also get two firsts from the Celtics and a first from the Pacers to sweeten the deal even further.
