For the Knicks, they complete the Nova roster while re-signing OG, Hartenstein, and Achiuwa. With this, they build one of the toughest starting lineups in Brunson-Bridges-Anunoby-Randle-Hartenstein and one of the deepest bench lineups of McBride-DiVincenzo-Hart-"Draft Pick or Free Agent"-Achiuwa. Although it costs them Robinson, Bogdanovic, and draft capital (potentially too much), they become unbelievably deep and versatile with the option to run so many different lineups. As a Knicks fan, I would do this any day and fully believe it pishes us even closer to a championship.

For the Nets, it is time to rebuild, As much as they don't want to, their rebuild window is narrowing. This sees them bringing back Claxton (should be top priority), bringing in even more expiring contracts which could also be flipped to contenders for more assets, more draft picks, and most importantly two very quality pieces to pair with Thomas and Claxton. This also sees them be reasonably competitive as they retain some quality role players around their young core, and since they don't own their own picks this way they can play some exciting basketball for their fans while they rebuild.

For the Pelicans, they desperately need a defensive center. They also have an abundance of young prospects which is making their rotations difficult. This opens them up to bring back Ingram and JV, give more time to Jordan Hawkins who spaces the floor much better, as well as make their 2025 Milwaukee pick an unprotected first as opposed to a very heavily protected pick.

Finally, for the Nuggets, they swap MPJ for Johnson which is certainly a small downgrade, but in the role MPJ plays, Johnson can fill it decently well. They additionally add a great backup PF which is a big need and a heavily protected first. They also could sign extensions for KCP and Reggie Jackson but I did not decide to do that at this time. Overall keeps them just as or more competitive and deep.
