This is not me saying MPJ is a bad player in any way I love him however he is one of the only good assets for Denver this offseason. None of the others players are even rotation players for a team like Portland in my opinion. Yes they can just run it back but a return of Grant, Brogdon and Kris Murray would be too good to pass up on imo. Brogdon just came of a insanely efficient catch and shoot year that next to Jokic is dangerous, and with Denver severely lacking bench power this playoffs, adding a 6moty would help A LOT. Grant is a better player now than his previous time in Denver. A good ISO scorer and catch and shoot guy who can catch on fire when Jokic and Murray are getting double teamed. Murray is an interesting project for Denver but I believe he can be a rotation piece for a contender, good defender and cutter whilst his threes need work.
Nuggets Lineup:
Jamal Murray, KCP, Jerami Grant, Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic
Malcolm Brogdon, Christian Braun, Peyton Watson, Kris Murray, Goga Bitadze (Or another Center)
Portland Trail Blazers Lineup:
Scoot Henderson, Shaedon Sharpe, MPJ, Ron Holland, Deandre Ayton
Dalano Banton, 14th Pick, Toumani Camara, Jabari Walker, Duop Reath (Bench gets more assets from other trades)
Trade Anfernee Simons, Thybulle and Robert Williams III
