It's clear Gobert and Donovan Mitchell hate each other and can't be on the same team. I think the Jazz will more likely keep Mitchell because he's younger, more exciting, and potentially easier to build around. So in looking for a new home for Gobert, here come the Knicks.

Julius Randle has really fallen out with the fans in NY. He's given lackluster effort and really needs to be moved on. IMO, Gobert is a much more valuable player than Randle but the Jazz won't get fair value anyway. Randle takes some scoring load off of Mitchell and maybe provides some of the playmaking and passing lost by trading Ingles.

Cam Reddish should never have gone to the Knicks in the first place. He's a terrible fit with Tibs and won't get the playing time Cam wants to warrant the contract he wants. The Jazz need depth and Cam will get more time on the court. Additionally, the Jazz would appreciate the 1st rounder, which should be a good pick in this years draft.

The Knicks, meanwhile, get an anchor to their defense to replace Mitchell Robinson, Nerlens Noel, and Taj Gibson or whoever they're using these days.
