My thought is the Heat are much better with Herro on their roster. Herro with Giannis and Bam, are a real contender. Additionally, with sending out so many players and their pick they will need some bench pieces (Sims and Jackson). With Charlotte, now is the time for them to buy in, their core is cheap and really good. With this trade they give up a first next year (reason to believe they'll be good so that's fine, also they have the Mavs pick in 27) and an expiring contract in Miles Bridges. They still keep both picks in this years draft, as the Bucks can't realistically draft 3 players this year with all their contracts anyway. Bucks have a ton of 27' expiring contracts so a next year pick is ideal. They also don't have a pick in 29' so they would value that pick highly. After this trade the Bucks go into a heavy rebuild, almost all contracts are expiring soon and they get to draft their guys right now. With the 3-2-1 lottery I don't care that we don't have our picks. As a Bucks fan I have to be honest, most Giannis trade ideas are insane. I think most people are overrating his trade value at this point. Bucks should feel pressured to sell which significantly decreases his value.

I also think this puts Charlotte in a perfect position to draft a defensive wing (Ament, Yaxel, Morez, Lopez) to start at the 4. A defensive wing around all their offensive talent would be great. Then they use their other 1st rounder to get a bench piece they like, as their bench also needs help. Bucks can honestly draft anything, I would think guard early and forward with the Heat pick but honestly it depends on how the draft goes.
