I Honestly Think That It Is Very Possible That Lowry Gets Move Further In The Regular Season, Especially If Heat Are On A Very Mediocore Start. I Mean There Are Some Lowry Trade Rumours Roaming Around The Leauge For A While Now and Its Possible That He Is Gone After The Trade Deadline. I Know That Lowry Been An Important Piece For The Heat Last Season But He Is Turning 38 This Season With Alot Of Major Injuries And Regression Concerns. So For Me I Think Its Best To Trade Lowry and Should Really Look On Upgrading The Team Especially When They Just Lose 2 Of Their Key Players(Vincent & Strus) Also Failing To Get Dame This Offseason. In This Deal, They Manage To Get Jones and Shamet In Return For Lowry and The Protected 2027 First. Tyus Jones Is A Quality Floor General With Solid Scoring Skills and Reliable On Or Off Ball Defense. He Is A Huge Upgrade From Lowry Coming In This Season and a Type Of Player That Heat Desperately Needs On The Team. Jones Role Last Season With Memphis Was Limited and Vivid So I Really Believe He Can Blossoms If Given Bigger Opportunities Maybe He Can Give You 13 & 6 With Solid Effeciency. Heat Also Obtained Landry Shamet, Who Is A Reliable Combo Guard That Can Give The Bench More Production With His Scoring Ability. Good Deal For The Heat.

There are Multiple Reasons Why Wizards Do This. First Of All, I Don't See A Reason Why Would They Keep Tyus Jones When They Are Tanking/Rebuilding Team. Jones Could Potentially Leave After This Season As Well Since He Would Probably Want To Be With A Contending Team, It's A "IF" But Its Very Possible. So I Think Its Best To Move Him Now, If He Has Not Shown Any Interest On Resigning. 2nd Of All, This Move Can Give The Front Office More Financial Flexibility Long Term and Can Pull A Huge Free Agent In The Forseeable Future If They Are Ready. Lastly, This Gives A Young Wizards Team A Veteran Leader(Kyle Lowry) That Has Alot Of Experience and Can Guide Them For The Better. They Manage To Get A First Round Pick As Well That Holds Certain Value (Its Heavily Protected But Still). If We Simplify This, Wizards Was Able To Get Rid Of Shamet's Long Term Contract, Shamet is A Decent Guard But His Role Is Limited On This Team and Not Very Needed. While Yes I Know Tyus Jones Is Good But You Receiving Kyle Lowry and A Protected First Is Definitely A Fair Return. As I Said, This Could Benifit The Wizards In Multiple Ways.
