Send out-Dejounte Murray

Receive-D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, 2027 srp

Hawks do this trade because Dejounte has been underperforming and doing this gives them flexibility in the offseason. Assuming Dlo opts out of his deal they could have some money to spend in FA. Also Jalen is a decent rookie and on a team that isn’t immediately contending he could grow into a solid rotational player. The Lakers second is also very valuable because with the timeline of LeBron and AD it is very likely that they will suck around then.

Nets:

Send out- DFS, Royce O’Neal

Receive- Rui Hachimura, SRP, Lightly protected FRP

Nets do this to get a younger wing with more potential and those pick could be very valuable as well.

Bulls:

Receive: Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, 2 srp

Send Out: Caruso, Andre Drummond

The main reason they do this is to commit to a rebuild. However this trade gives a little flexibility. They kind of get Carusos skillset just in two different players. Gabe Vincent good secondary ball handler. Cam Reddish good perimeter defender. The two seconds would be equivalent to a first because the lakers are out of picks.

Lakers:

Send out: D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, 1 frp, 4 srp

Lakers get two way players that won’t get played off the floor during the playoffs. Having guys like Austin and Jarred that are good one way players is great but this trade allows them to get guys that are good on both sides of the floor.
