Pistons: Use cap space to eat up Nurkic for 2 years, direct swap for Isaiah Stewart (bench big behind Duren but can play good mins if in form). Get a 1st from the Magic to take this on. Then get a great shooter on a multi-year deal they had been looking for in Grayson Allen for an array of 2nds which are extremely valuable for a team looking to construct a roster like Phoenix.
Suns: Get rid of arguably better plays on worse contracts for fit improvements on better value. Beef Stew gives much better defence and can shoot if needed, only need 15-20 good mins as KD can play a lot of 5. Cole Anthony gives them a secondary PG if Tyus goes down and a bench scoring boost. Future 2nds will also help them replenish depleted draft stock and also get cheap ready now rookies to come in the future, and can trade them away for 2nds in 25/26 if need be.
Magic: Trade Cole while his stock is high in a well covered position, get Malik Beasley to play the same role as is being done in Detroit to make a push for a potential ECF birth. Willing to give up this years 1st to Detroit, who likely won’t have there’s this year as it conveys if they make play in, as they have huge draft pick stocks and their own 1st still, and particularly so if they get some form of assurance that Beasley resigns as a UFA (assuming he plays well).
