Why the Heat do this:

To be honest, they probably like this deal the least, but Beal is a more efficient scorer than Herro, is a better defender and would be a great cultural fit with the Heat. Heat also pick up 2 additional role players who really fit how they play in Little and Pat C.

Why the Bucks do this:

The Bucks need to get younger. Herro is from Wisconsin and Terry gives them some pop off the bench and is a contract that has good flexibility to be packaged in a trade for them to continue to retool their roster on the fly.

Why the Suns do this:

Suns need to get more physical. While Middleton is definitely on the decline, he can still give some savvy scoring, and Portis gives the Suns more size and versatility in their front court.
