HEAT: The Heat make this trade to add a talented power forward with potential in Saddiq Bey, and they have already been in Tim Hardaway Jr. rumors, Javale McGee also gives the Heat another option at the backup center position instead of poor performing Dewayne Dedmon or young but still raw Orlando Robinson.

PISTONS: The Pistons have already set their asking price for Saddiq Bey at 1 1st round pick but in this trade, they get that 1st and a young player in Omer Yurtseven who they can develop as well. In addition to that since Yurtseven is currently injured they don't have to play him in order to tank for Wembanyama this season.

MAVERICKS: The Mavericks in this trade get 1 year off of Tim Hardaway Jr, and Javale McGee's contracts which puts them in a good position to add a superstar in 2 years' time when Kyle Lowry's contract expires. By adding Lowry they also get a good playmaker for when Luka is off the court so they can play a better bench lineup or run some post-up and off ball plays for Luka to not tire him out come playoff time.
