Pistons get their long term fit at shooter in MPJ, who is blowing up this season.

Nets were 7-4 in December... too much winning for a team that wants a top 3 pick. They need to get worse, and unloading Porter is their best option to do it. They get Jaden Ivey, an upside RFA who they can retain at a decent price given his sub-par performance over his career so far and his injury history. The real haul is in two firsts and two high seconds, which is about the value I think Porter gets in the trade market. They also get Tobias Harris as an expiring and Bobi as young flyer to make the math work. They need to get down to 15 players, so they might choose to just waive Harris and someone else (Wilson?, Martin?, etc.?).
