Raptors: Balance out their roster by adding more shooting/defence in the starting lineup (Wiggins would play the two), and a needed shooting forward coming off the bench. The Raptors' starting lineup would become super long with 4/5 players with a 7-foot wingspan, which could make them very disruptive in passing lanes, and allow them to run in transition even more. Wiggins is also a good cutter and spot-up shooter, which synergises nicely with Scottie. However, Toronto might be looking to dump more salary to get under the first apron for next season, and Wiggins is more expensive the Barrett. Jovic would be a great fit with the Darko style offence with his passing chops, shooting, driving, and cutting. He is an RFA after next season and could get expensive in the future.
Heat: Go for a talent grab by getting Barrett, and get a young shooter in Jameson Battle. Barrett has improved his passing/playmaking and efficiency a lot this season, and he is taking strides with his defense in the second half of this season. I think he could finally become a true positive on the defensive end under Spoelstra. The elite slashing and cutting, as well as the self-creation and transition play that he provides, would be a tremendous help to the Heat offence. However, Barrett must be utilized properly to avoid regressing to his New York days, which could provide some lineup constraints. I think he synergises well with Herro because of their contrasting skillsets, and fits the same timeline as well. I also think RJ provides a nice balance between resetting for the future and still being competent in the present (the Heat don't have their own first until 2027 or 2028). Battle has been one of the best UDFA (if not the best) signings in my opinion. He is a 6'7" (with a +4 wingspan) excellent shooter off of relocations and spot-ups (40% on high volume), a smart cutter, and has made good progress on the defensive end in the latter half of the season. He's not a great athlete, and I don't think his value is very high league-wide, but he sweetens the deal nicely for the Heat. The Heat might be reluctant to give up this much shooting, or to part with Jovic.
