My first thought is Mavs say no to this. That MPJ deal is just a monster. However, with the Mavs desperate for a potential star next to Luka, taking a shot at MPJ and the upside of Bones may be enough for them to take a risk.

The Nuggets here are preying on the desperation of the Mavs to star chase, and are adding a starting 3 and D wing in Finney Smith, who would serve their playoff run better than MPJ (who is a defensive liability). They also get a backup center and wing depth.
