Immediately, I think both say no. But thinking about it a little more, there might be something there.
Pels
With as well as Ingram is playing, it's time to commit to building around him and the players you have. Zion can't stay healthy at a time when you're trying to seriously compete. This trade would actually make the Pelicans a more interesting team, and you're probably one move away now from being able to seriously compete for the next several years. Probably one that sends out CJ and a couple firsts for a star guard and/or upgrade at center. Not getting any picks, but no team wants to give picks to a guy who plays about as much as Ben Simmons so that may just be reality.
Wizards
Get Zion for no picks. He'll be exciting to watch, which will put butts in seats when he's healthy. When he's not healthy, it'll help you tank to draft more young talent (which is likely to be a multi-year thing). On the off chance that Zion's biggest hurdle has to do with how amazing Louisiana food is, maybe you end up cracking the code to a consistent, healthier Zion. If not, no big deal as you draft good players waiting out his contract for a few years.
