Reasoning:
Sacramento- Intention: Compete while retooling. Gets Young as as building block star PG who keeps the fans coming. Younger starting and backup SGs on cost controlled contracts. Expiring contracts of Simons and a Porzingas. Gets rid of albatross contracts of Sabonis, Lavine. Give up a few low firsts and high seconds to Hawks to reflect minor surplus value of getting the best player in the deal who will need to be extended soon.
Raptors- Intention:Compete. Gets Sabonis (rumored) to be able to play two big larger lineups to reflect direction of league. Sabonis will play PF primarily. Barnes moves to SF, Ingram to SG. Schead and Carter compete at PG. Keon Ellis super sub. Give up on oft injured and neutral to negative asset Quickley.
Hawks- Compete. Gets Quickley and Lavine for a solid and balanced four guard lineup. They decide they don't want to pay Trey and instead get Lavine who expires in two years. Get some small additional pick comp from Kings for Trey.
Boston- intention: Compete and get under luxury tax this year and next to reset repeater. Slips below tax by trading Simons for DeRozen. DeRozen has only 10M of 25M team option guaranteed for next year, so they can either cut him, use him as a trade asset, or extend him at a lower number in the high teens for a few years.
All team touching rules satisfied via second round swaps.
