TRADE BREAKDOWN:

  • Bulls trade: Lauri Markannen (3 year $36 million S & T), Ryan Arcidiacono (3 year $6 million S & T), Coby White, Troy Brown Jr., Nikola Vucevic, 2027 CHI Top 3 protected 1st

  • Bulls receive: Justin Holiday, Jerami Grant, Myles Turner

  • Pistons trade: Jerami Grant, Jahlil Okafor

  • Pistons receive: Coby White, Troy Brown Jr., PJ Washington, Jeremy Lamb, 2022 MIL 2nd round pick

  • Bucks trade: Brook Lopez, 2022 MIL 2nd round pick

  • Bucks receive: Lauri Markannen (3 year $36 million S & T), Jahlil Okafor

  • Hornets trade: Gordon Hayward, PJ Washington

  • Hornets receive: Nikola Vucevic, TJ Warren

  • Pacers trade: Myles Turner, Justin Holiday, TJ Warren

  • Pacers receive: Gordon Hayward, Brook Lopez, Caleb Martin, Ryan Arcidiacono (3 year $6 million S & T), 2027 CHI Top 3 protected 1st

Why Bulls do this:

They get better defense and youth on their squad instead of the veteran, Nikola Vucevic. Grant and Turner provide great defense, and also shooting. They also send two guys that aren't going to stay on the team in Markannen and Arcidiacono, and a first.

BULLS POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUP:

  • Lonzo Ball

  • Zach LaVine

  • Demar Derozan

  • Jerami Grant

  • Myles Turner

BENCH 5:

  • Alex Caruso

  • Ayo Dosunmu

  • Justin Holiday

  • Patrick Williams

  • Tony Bradley

REST OF BENCH:

  • Javonte Green

  • Minimum FAs

Why Pistons do this:

Even though they say they're trying to contend, I don't think they can do so yet, so they get more players that can be very good in the future and fit alongside Cade Cunningham.

PISTONS POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUP:

  • Cade Cunningham

  • Killian Hayes

  • Saddiq Bey

  • PJ Washington

  • Isaiah Stewart

BENCH 5:

  • Coby White

  • Josh Jackson

  • Jeremy Lamb

  • Sekou Doumbouya

  • Kelly Olynyk

REST OF BENCH:

  • Saben Lee

  • Frank Jackson

  • Troy Brown Jr.

  • Isaiah Livers

  • Trey Lyles

Why Bucks do this:

Markannen is basically a younger, more efficient version of Brook Lopez, as he can stretch the floor very well, and they only need to give Lopez and a second for him and center depth in Jahlil Okafor (who was honestly only there because I need to match salaries).

BUCKS POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUP:

  • Jrue Holiday

  • Donte DiVencenzo

  • Khris Middleton

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo

  • Lauri Markannen

BENCH 5:

  • George Hill

  • Grayson Allen

  • Rodney Hood

  • Semi Ojeleye

  • Bobby Portis

REST OF BENCH:

  • Elijah Bryant

  • Pat Connaughton

  • Mamadi Diakite

  • Jordan Nwora

  • Jahlil Okafor

Why Hornets do this:

They get a very good center in Nikola Vucevic, and also a good wing who can offset the loss of Gordon Hayward.

HORNETS POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUP:

  • LaMelo Ball

  • Terry Rozier

  • TJ Warren

  • Miles Bridges

  • Nikola Vucevic

BENCH 5:

  • Ish Smith

  • James Bouknight

  • Kelly Oubre Jr.

  • Kai Jones

  • Mason Plumlee

REST OF BENCH:

  • Wes Iwundu

  • JT Thor

  • Nick Richards

  • Vernon Carey Jr.

  • Scottie Lewis

Why Pacers do it:

The Pacers have always been very interested in Gordon Hayward here, and they get him, a center in Brook Lopez, and depth, as well as a future first.

PACERS POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUP:

  • Malcolm Brogdon

  • Caris Levert

  • Gordon Hayward

  • Domantas Sabonis

  • Brook Lopez

BACKUP 5:

  • TJ McConnell

  • Chris Duarte

  • Torrey Craig

  • Isaiah Jackson

  • Goga Bitadze

REST OF BENCH:

  • Ryan Arcidiacono

  • Edmond Summer

  • Caleb Martin

  • Oshae Brissett
