Trade #1: Ousmane Dieng, Kenrich Williams and pick 12 for Cameron Johnson- This trade wouldn’t actually officially be completed until all of the free agent signing were official as, although the Thunder are taking on approximately $7 million in salary (Dieng and Williams’ salary plus the approximately $5 million the #12 pick will cost the Thunder), it would work legally under the new CBA rules and the Thunder wouldn’t have to use any of their cap space to take on the additional salary.
Trade #2: Sasha Vezenkov, Blazers’ 2025 second-round pick for cash- The Thunder are essentially taking on Vezenkov’s contract using their room exception in an effort to provide the Kings some breathing room under the luxury tax. They get compensated what should be a solid second-round pick in next year’s draft for doing so.
Free agent signing #1: Isaiah Hartenstein- Three years, $78 million (third year team option)
Free agent signing #2: Caleb Martin- Two years, $17.8 million (second year player option)
Free agent signing #3: Mike Muscala- Two years, $6.8 million (second year team option)
Free agent signing #4: Lindy Waters - Two years, $4.6 million (second year team option)
