Cooper Flagg is already good enough for the Mavs to go for it. He still has development to go, but there's no reason to wait around to compete. A Kyrie-Suggs-Flagg-PJ-Gafford starting unit with Max Christie and Naji Marshall as the sixth and seventh men. Add a decent backup big (which are not hard to find) and the Mavs can be a legit top 6 playoff team next year.

I still wouldn't rush to break up the Paolo Franz duo. I think they need a new coach and a different lead guard. Suggs is great in so many ways; it's just not ideal for a team that struggles on offense to play a injury riddled point guard who shoots 33% from deep. Lively gives them a potential long-term answer at the five, and with paydays on the horizon for Paolo and Black they need cap space.
