Blazers decide that they could make one final push, and since they have a very valuable anfernee simons, AND the lakers could possibly sell for anthony davis, they try to go for him. Just imagine a dame and davis pick and roll. You’d need to guard davis’s unguardable post game, but also prevent dame from pulling up. Just unbeatable. The only thing they would need to do is sign some veteran role players, which is why they go for lou wil.

Lakers decide that since lebron could go play with his son, or he just may be open to a trade, that they might have to sell, especially that awful weetbrook trade. Anthony davis could demand a trade in the future, which this may be a solid trade for them, as they get a growing star in the making in anfernee simons. Plus a couple of firsts. This can be a perfect start to the future before bron can go anywhere, they could also do what the grizzlies do, and trade for a young roster and sign a young coach to develop WITH the players.
