Explanation: The Warriors are in a bit of a tough state right now after the loss of Klay Thompson. The Warriors have been active in trade talks regarding acquiring stars like Paul George and Lauri Markkanen. This proposal has the Warriors landing Markkanen and Raptors centre, Jakob Poeltl. This trade sends all of GSW's young players and picks to win it all while Steph Curry is still playing. Both Poeltl and Markkanen fit very well next to Steph and Draymond, with Markkanen sliding perfectly as a 3 or a 4 next to Draymond, and Poeltl sliding in at the 5. Now, you might think this is an overpay, which it is, but considering you're dealing with Danny Ainge, you will have to overpay to get his star player.

Utah Jazz:

Acquisitions: -Mosses Moody -Brandin Podzemski -Chris Boucher -FRP in '26 via IND and '26 via GSW and '28 via GSW, and swaps in '29 and '31 via GSW

Losses: -Lauri Markkanen

Explanation: The Jazz have been rumoured to be looking for a trade partner to trade 1-time Allstar Lauri Markkanen. In this proposal, the Jazz acquire 5 FRP and some great young players. The Jazz supposedly want Brandin Podzemski over Jonathan Kuminga, and in this trade, they do acquire him, along with guard Mosses Moody. In my opinion, this is the best they'll get for Lauri, 3 FRP, (2 unprotected and 1 protected via IND) and 2 FRP swaps with 2 good young players is a ton.

Toronto Raptors:

Acquisitions: -Jonathan Kuminga -Andrew Wiggins

Loses: -Jakob Poeltl -Chris Boucher -'26 FRP via IND

Explanation: The Raptors are a bit interesting in this trade. Seeing as they've given 1-time All-Star Scottie Barnes a contract extension worth over $200 million. This trade sends Poeltl and Boucher, along with the '26 FRP from the Pascal Siakam trade to acquire Jonathan Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins. Now, before you say, "Why are the Raptors giving up a FRP again, they're a rebuilding team. Listen, Masai has done this before at this past trade deadline, where he gave up a FRP to acquire Kelly Onlynic and Ochai Agbagi. Now, Toronto does give up a bit more, but Kuminga's potential is very high, and for all we know, he could mesh well with BBQ. I'd say GS give up some seconds but idk. It's not perfect, but I believe, as a Raptors fan, that getting Kuminga and pairing him with our young core will be beneficial.
