Why each team does it:
76ers: Philly trades George + the Clippers picks for Kawhi to contend for the next two years. This also gets them off the PG contract which is terrible. They also trade Drummond for Eason to get another PF as well as dumping off Gordan to sign Barlow to a full contract.
Clippers: Clips realise their time is up and trade Kawhi for their picks back. They reroute PG for Lavine as it allows them to get keep Cap Space for the 2027 Free Agency class like they are planning.
Kings: Sacramento trade away a bad contract for another. They take on PG's slightly more expensive salary + additional year as he allows them to tank, gives a better locker room and mentor presence than Levine and they get 2 seconds for it.
Rockets: Houston retool their bench so they can have a better playoff push. Rockets have interest in both White and Drummond due to the FVV and Adams injuries. Both Drum and White are expiring so there is little to no risk in this not working out long term. They lose an underperforming DFS and unfortunately Tari Eason who might've been difficult to resign in the offseason.
Bulls: Chicago basically just gets rid of Coby White who has next to zero value for an expiring Gordan, DFS and two seconds. DFS could end being a piece you could package next season or keep as a role player (depending on franchise direction)
