Re-do Mock Offseason (Bulls)

SUCCESS

I don't know if this is the best the Bulls can do, but the Center market is getting extremely thin. Mark Williams is in Pheonix, Myles Turner is with the Bucks, Nic Claxton will likely stay in Brooklyn (don't see any point in them getting a different center. I know the Warriors want Vuc. badly, and that would certainly compensate for losing Kuminga, but the Bulls won't just give up Vuc w/out getting a starting center in return, so I'm not sure if the Thunder are willing give up I-Hart after he helped get them a championship, but he is older than SGA, J-Dub, and Chet, and they did just draft Thomas Sorber. He'd be more in the age range of those 3. He was drafted only 3 years after J-Dub and Chet, so he can't be that much younger, but then again this would be outside of the norm for the Thunder to start Sorber right away, when they usually end up sitting them out at least a season. But they did just win a championship. They did just sign SGA to the supermax, so they probably need to move I-Hart and not take back as much so, they can have enough to extend J-Dub and Chet, so maybe this is necessary. They add more 3-point shooting with Huerter. Its not really an upgrade, but he did resurrect his career with the Bulls after he was traded from the Kings, so I guess its not that bad.

I see this as about the only positive way the Bulls can still get younger, yet still get Kuminga, and move Vuc. Yes, the Warriors lose Podz, Kuminga, and Moody, but they are in a win-now window with Steph in his last years, so they don't really have any incentive to develop their young players. I could try TJD instead of Podz, but the Bulls just drafted Essengue, so I think TJD would mean less playing time for him. And with Zach Collins, Jalen Smith and now I-Hart (in this trade) they don't really need a 4th center. I have them signing Alec Burks since he's a veteran and adds more 3-point shooting. He was also Jimmy Butler 's old teammate in Miami, so its possible he could start over Hield! I don't see the Heat being able to bring back Burks because they'd likely have to buy out both D-Rob and Rozier just to sign Damian Lillard now that he's available, and they did just bring back Davion Mitchell and drafted Kasparas so there probably isn't any room for Burks. As for Tre Mann, I hear the Warriors might not be able to bring back GP2, and I thought losing 3 young players in Kuminga, Podz and Moody might not be what the Warriors want to do, but Tre Mann is still out there, he's not too old. Hornets won't be bringing him back now that they traded for Sexton, he can shoot. I don't think he's the next Steph, but at least the Warriors can try and make something out of him. And they get Terry in this deal. So lose 3 young players, get two back in Tre Mann, and Dalen Terry, and you get Nic. Vuc, not bad! The Bulls wanted a draft pick from the Warriors at the deadline for Vuc., so I think the price would still be the same. So that's why I have the Warriors 2027 FRP going to the Bulls.

If you guys have any other ideas that seem more plausible than I-Hart please tell me them, but this is the best I can think of.
