The Hawks trade away his heavy contract for cody martin (better defender and scorer inside the arc) and get Micic as a back up Trae Young (they don't have a real playmaker when he isn't on the court). In this way next summer they can decide if they prefer keeping micic or cut him (his contract for next season isn't garanteed) and draft a new backup pg with the Sacramento or Lakers firsts rounder that they would keep.

The Hornets get another player with some playoff experience (like Green and G. Williams to help the team improve and some other future second round picks)
