Pacers finally gives Haliburton a strong helper with Siakam, an all-star PF in their roster. This assures that the Pacers have two major ball-handlers on the court and also strengthens their ability to score in mid-range and the paint.
The arrival of Siakam gives young talent Jarace Walker a chance to practice his ball-handling ability from Siakam. Maybe two or three years later, he can become a well-rounded player who excel on both the offensive-end and defensive-end. Walker currently shoots 50% from deep in G-League, adding up his ability in the future to dribble and cut, and also his ability to block tough shots, he's likely to become an all-star in the future.
Acquiring Jalen McDaniels can make up the lost of Bruce Brown.
Trading two older players Hield and Brown to the raptors may seem to be sacrificing a lot, but this increases the time and chance for talented players such as Mathurin, Toppin, and Nesmith to grow and develop.

Trading Pascal Siakam to the Pacers completely establish the fact that Scottie Barnes will be the star and core of the team. With the vacated MPG from Siakam, it allows more talents such as SB, RJB, and Quickley to grow and make mistakes.
Shooting from deep has always been struggling for the Raptors, as Scotties Barnes being the one that made the most three-pointers this season (70 for now). With Buddy Hield and Bruce Brown in the lineup, it's obvious that the Raptors will perform better from deep and opens more chances for players like SB to cut into the paint as their opponents will have to be more aware of the shooters outside.
Getting rid of Jalen McDaniels won't be that significant or harmful to the Raptors as they've already acquired RJB from recent trades and the two players from Pacers now.
The additional first-round pick from the Pacers allow them to draft more young talents and make up the lack of depth at their PG or C position.
