Miami gets off of bad play and the remaining 1.5-year contract of Rozier, in exchange for Brogdon who is on an expiring contract. If things work out Brogdon may extend. If not, no loss as the Heat would have money for a new PG and maybe more. In the mean time Brogdon's play is likely more beneficial to Miami than Rozier's.

For GS, they get Val to contribute, maybe start, at center at times. Val has a good contract and can pair against the likes of Jokic and Embiid.

As we all know, this will help DC tank even more to best move towards the worst record in the NBA. There is about to be a severe major tank-fest coming. Just positioning as the very worst team is big for the next draft class. DC gets 2 FRPs, as well, which are very much needed and desired for their lengthy re-build.
