Why the Lakers do this:

LAL sends out two guys who aren’t contributing in exchange for one who has contributed in the past. They aim to resurrect Kuzma’s career in a similar role to his original one in LA.

Why the Bucks do this:

Kuzma has been awful in Milwaukee and they clear his contract one year earlier while also hoping Gabe Vincent can contribute in this backcourt by committee.
