Why would Hornets do this?

The Charlotte Hornets are playing very good, fun and fast basketball. Franz is one of the best fastbreak players in the NBA and matches the system perfectly. Charlotte gets in 8 mil in money, but when they need to pay Miller and Knueppel, Grant Williams, Josh Green and Miles Bridges contracts are of the table. Franz also fits perfectly in the Hornets timeline and roster.

Why would Magic do this?

The Wagner | Banchero duo is not working put for Orlando an they might need to trade one of them. The both limit the options and skill for the other one and dont match as a Star duo. I think that Franz is the better player and the one playing more winning basktball, but he is the one going in this trade, tu get his teams with Melo, Milller and Knueppel. In this case the Magic would build around Banchero and restart with the Picks and young talent they get. Also they would have a good amount of expiring money for the off season with Sextons and Pats combined 28.3 mil contracts.
