• With the East Wide open next season, it wouldn't be a bad idea for the Pistons to go all-in on a player like Sabonis to take that next step and become true contenders.

• Sabonis & Lyles would fit perfectly with the Pistons. Improves their rebounding, spacing and interior scoring which are all area's the Pistons need to get better at if they want to contend

• Kings already have plenty of offensive firepower even without Sabonis. They desperately need to improve their defence, and this trade does just that. They also gain valuable draft capital to build their future.
